Job summary

Rockcliffe Care Community is seeking a dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our Long Term Care team. You will form meaningful relationships with residents, support daily living activities, and contribute to a compassionate, dignified living experience.

You will provide bedside care, assist with medications under supervision, and help residents stay engaged in programs that enrich health and wellbeing. Legally eligible to work in Canada is required.

Qualifications

• Completed a Personal Support Worker program from an approved college or private institution.
• Internationally Educated Nurse with a Nursing degree may qualify.
• Experience delivering resident-centered care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support residents with activities of daily living (eating, dressing, hygiene).
• Administer medications under supervision of a registered health professional.
• Assist residents with mobility devices and access to care equipment.
• Provide ongoing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support as part of daily care.
• Encourage participation in activities and programs run by the Resident Experience Team.
