Riverstone Retirement Communities in Ottawa is seeking a reliable housekeeping assistant to maintain a clean, safe living environment for residents. You will clean resident suites, common areas, and staff spaces, follow infection control policies, and support the care team.

The role requires Grade 12 and at least two years of experience, preferably in a health care setting, plus good communication and teamwork. A keen interest in working with seniors and adaptability to change are essential.

Competenze

• Grade 12 minimum.
• Two years or more experience, preferably in health care setting.
• Excellent communication skills.

Mansioni

• Maintain a clean, safe environment in the residence.
• Clean, dust, vacuum resident suites, common areas, offices and staff areas according to policies.
• Sanitize resident suites and areas per infection control policies.
• Clean vacant rooms and prepare suites for new move-ins as instructed.
• Clean and sanitize resident bathrooms and all washrooms.
• Collect and dispose of refuse and dirty laundry from various areas following policies.
• Clean and restock housekeeping carts daily.
• Report repairs or maintenance needed to the front desk or ESM.
