Your future role on our team

BBA is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join our team at the Québec City office. You will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing projects or project components effectively, ensuring quality and meeting client expectations. Your duties include understanding client objectives, preparing proposals, overseeing activities such as site data analysis, landscape design, construction plans and specifications, cost estimates, technical support during tenders, construction oversight, and final project approval.

  • Analyze project needs, define objectives, develop timelines, set budgets, and identify solutions
  • Organize human and material resources, define tasks, allocate workloads, and identify needed materials
  • Lead effectively by ensuring tasks are completed, motivating the team, maintaining clear communication, and making adjustments as needed
  • Supervise team members, set and monitor objectives and deadlines, provide feedback, and take corrective actions
  • Manage and coordinate projects, including schedule, budget, quality, OHS, and compliance
  • Manage human resources, including training, performance assessment, and discipline
  • Train team members in specific areas such as landscape studies, visual assessments, and integration of facilities
  • Support department members in acquiring expertise in relevant fields
  • Set objectives for team members and manage material resources
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies and review project documents before client submission
  • Maintain strong client relationships and follow up during project execution

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in landscape architecture
  • Over 10 years of experience in similar roles
  • Member of the Association des architectes paysagistes du Québec (AAPQ)
  • Expertise in urban, recreational, and natural design, including environmental impact assessments
  • Excellent communication skills in both English and French
  • Autonomy, versatility, creativity, and initiative
  • Strong interest in environmental and social issues
  • Project management skills and ability to handle multiple projects
