About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Lab Support Technician to join our DTPPD Media Washing & Sterilizing team at Sanofi on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of laboratory equipment and media, playing a crucial part in our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of laboratory operations. Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare, assemble, and ship production equipment according to departmental SOPs for bacterial vaccine customers.
  • Inspect raw materials, pre-assembled parts, and washed reusable items for damage and suitability for use in various production areas, including CP89, CP90, Media Diphtheria, Tetanus, Purification, Final Adsorption, and Fermentation.
  • Complete all GMP documentation accurately and concurrently, such as Can/Tank Processing Records (CPRs/TPRs), Sterilization Records, and Logbooks, ensuring specific load configurations are followed.
  • Operate various Washing & Sterilizing (W&S) equipment like the automatic tank wash station, boiling sink, ultrasonic bath, and Lancer bottle washers, ensuring printers have paper and chart recorders are ready, and confirming levels of CIPI 00 and CIP200.
  • Perform periodic maintenance checks, including the Bowie-Dick test and leak test for area autoclaves.
  • Maintain production areas in a tidy and compliant state, following 5S guidelines and properly discarding glassware, waste from Decon autoclaves, Nalgenes, glassware, and tanks as per discard material guidelines.
  • Perform daily disinfection and WFI lines replacement as per SOPs, administer data information for W&S production, and conduct viable and non-viable environmental monitoring as per SOP.
About You
Minimum requirements
  • 2 years College Diploma in a science-related field.
  • 1 year of relevant work experience.
Preferred requirements
  • 3 years College Diploma in Chemical Laboratory Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Industrial Pharmaceuticals, or Sterile Supply Processing.
  • 6 months of relevant work experience.
Skills
  • Knowledge of basic microbiology, chemistry, mathematics, and cGMP.
  • Proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in oral, written, and reading English.
  • Competency in computer skills, including SAP, and strong stress management and initiative.
Hours Of Work
  • Inclusive from Monday to Friday: 6:30 am - 2:30 pm (Day)
  • Inclusive from Monday to Friday: 1:45 pm - 9:45 pm (Afternoon)
