Job summary

The Canadian Centre on Substance Use and Addiction (CCSA) seeks a Senior Knowledge Broker to bridge evidence, policy and practice across Canada. Based in Ontario, Ottawa, this full-time role drives planning, implementation and evaluation of evidence-informed health services and knowledge products with partners and stakeholders.

Reporting to the Director, Health Services Quality and Modernization, you will lead capacity-building activities, develop tools, and support knowledge exchange to advance

Qualifications

• Registered healthcare professional with relevant regulatory standing in Canada.
• Experience applying implementation science, quality improvement, or healthcare transformation methodologies.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships across health, municipal, justice and community sectors.
• Demonstrated project and time management skills to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, evaluation, and sustainment of evidence-informed practices across healthcare systems.
• Develop and disseminate implementation tools, training materials, and knowledge products.
• Assess readiness, identify operational requirements, and address barriers to adoption.
• Conduct environmental scans and literature reviews to inform strategies.
• Collaborate with professionals, researchers, leaders, and people with lived experience to plan and execute initiatives.
• Develop measures to assess uptake and outcomes of practices.
• Facilitate workshops and knowledge exchange activities to support organizational learning.
• Synthesize evidence into practical recommendations for service improvement.
