Senior Java Production Support Engineer – Onsite

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Production Support Engineer with extensive experience in Java, Springboot, Java API, Java/2EE, Spring boot, Angular, to join our team with varied strengths. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our production applications. You will apply your expertise in Java development and production support to fix complex issues and implement effective solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong analytical skills, and be passionate about optimizing application performance.

What you’ll need to succeed (required skills)

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Java, JavaScript, Restful APIs, SQL Server, Spring Boot, SPLUNK, Dynatrace, and Datadog. Incident management and RCA are must.
• Able to run SQL queries and analyse logs.
• Solid understanding of production support processes and methodologies.
• Provide expert-level support for Java applications in production environments.
• Analyze and evaluate technical aspects of projects, enhancements, fixes, and infrastructure changes to determine impact on interfacing systems.
• Support the Business and Operations Teams during UAT testing for the Vendor's Production releases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to minimize downtime and improve user experience.
• Perform root cause analysis of incidents and proactively address potential issues.
• Guide the adoption of standard methodologies in coding, deployment, monitoring, and security.

Work model
