Job summary

TD is seeking a skilled software engineer for Toronto, combining 6+ years of development with 2–3 years in product management. You will work within TD Securities’ Global Regulatory Reporting space, building scalable Java services and data-rich solutions in a major banking technology team.

You’ll collaborate across groups, apply knowledge of risk and financial products, and contribute to high-performance, low-latency systems on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
• Regulatory reporting, Trade and Transaction reporting.
• Experience working in Agile.

Job Description Summary

Working on a team of technical professionals to provide technical expertise in the Global Regulatory Reporting space. The ideal candidate would be a self-starting, motivated and high-performing individual who looks forward to being a strong contributor in a dynamic technology organization at a major bank.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React
• Working knowledge of SQL DB
• Working knowledge of building Java services
• 6+ years of experience as a software engineer working on large scale development projects
• 2 to 3 years product manager experience
• Strong understanding of risk and financial products is a plus
• Experience working with scalable and low latency systems
• Experience working on big data sets with bi-temporal support
• Working knowledge on middleware (Solace, IBM MQ, Apache Active MQ)
• Ability to engage and coordinate change across multiple groups

EXPERIENCE AND / OR EDUCATION

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent work experience.
• Regulatory reporting, Trade and Transaction reporting
• Experience working in Agile
