Qualifications

Strong hands-on Java backend experience designing non-trivial services.
Practical experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit) including test data and integration tests.
Solid grasp of design patterns and OO design with proportional application.

Responsibilities

Design and build backend services in Java with clean, maintainable architecture.
Design and build event-driven services and the messaging/streaming flows that connect them.
Write and maintain automated tests as a first-class part of your work, not an afterthought.
Work with AWS-hosted infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to deliver changes safely and frequently.
Model, query, and tune data in PostgreSQL; write SQL you can reason about.
