Job summary

Purolator is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor in Mississauga, ON, to lead risk-based assurance engagements across operational, corporate, and technology domains. The role reports to the Manager Internal Audit Finance and emphasizes data analytics, automation, and AI-assisted insights.

The ideal candidate has an undergraduate degree in a related field and 3+ years of internal audit experience, with CPA/CISA/CIA assets beneficial.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate business degree (Accounting, Finance, IT/ Computer Information Systems).
• CPA/CISA/CIA designation an asset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute significantly to audit planning and reporting activities with minimum supervision.
• Develop risk-based audit programs and testing procedures.
• Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of controls through analysis of audit evidence; identify root causes of gaps.
• Draft and present clear audit observations and recommendations.
• Manage assigned engagement timelines and deliverables.
• Escalate significant issues or project risks promptly.
• Prepare working papers per Internal Audit standards.
