Job summary

Collabera is seeking a Senior/Intermediate React Native Developer for a contract role in Toronto, ON. The position is 5x per month onsite (1-2x per week) with an hourly compensation of $70–$79.

The engagement consists of client rounds and hands-on mobile development work aligned with modern React Native stacks. The ideal candidate will translate Figma designs into production-ready features, contribute within Agile squads, and collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams.

Job description

Role: Senior/Intermediate React Native Developer

Type: Contract-6+ Months

Location: Toronto, ON- 5x/Month-Onsite (1-2x/week)

Compensation: $70-$79/hour

Interview Process: 2 Client Rounds (1- Technical- In-person- 1.5 Hours, 2- Remote)

Must-Have Skills:

• Experience working with modern/recent versions of React Native
• Strong hands-on experience with Expo
• Experience working within Agile development squads
• Ability to take Figma designs and independently translate them into production-ready mobile features
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams

Nice to Have:

• Experience troubleshooting React Native issues within native mobile layers
• Experience with EAS Build and EAS Update
• Experience with Zustand and/or TanStack
• Experience with Expo-based navigation
• Experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions
• Experience with GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
• Exposure to spec-driven development
• Experience with Figma MCP servers, Spec Kit, or similar AI-enabled engineering workflows
• Experience developing applications within banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments
