Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking an Insights Analyst or Senior Insights Analyst to own the analytics behind finance and merchandising decisions, including markdowns, store performance, and test design. You will build dashboards and scorecards in Tableau, run complex reporting workflows, and partner with finance and merchandising teams to turn insights into actions.

This role requires 2–6 years in analytics or BI, a bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field, strong SQL and Excel skills, and

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related quantitative field.
• Experience: 2–4 years for Insights Analyst or 4–6 years for Senior Insights Analyst in analytics or BI; retail experience beneficial.
• Certifications (Bonus): Tableau or Alteryx certifications are assets.

Responsibilities

• Own the analytics behind finance and merchandising decisions such as markdowns and clearance.
• Run technically complex reporting workflows; keep them accurate, documented, and on time.
• Advise on test design, control selection, duration, and success metrics for test-and-learn.
• Build Tableau dashboards and scorecards linking decisions to store and financial results; turn insights into actions.
