Qualifications
- At least 5 years’ experience supporting IMS/CICS.
- Experience with tools such as Fault Analyzer, RMF, C/Prof.
- SMP/E and subsystem tuning experience.
- Installation and diagnostics techniques for IMS/CICS.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Cobol, JCL, Rexx, Assembler).
- Security products experience (e.g. RACF).
- Technical knowledge of z/OS systems.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly respond to IMS & CICS issues and minimize downtime.
- Open cases on IBM support portal for issue resolution.
- Provide consulting services to applications and operation teams.
- Install and support IMSplex & CICSPlex configurations.
- Identify opportunities for tuning IMS & CICS performance.
- Create technical documentation and ensure compliance with security requirements.
- Share knowledge and provide training to junior team members.
