Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience supporting IMS/CICS.
• Experience with tools such as Fault Analyzer, RMF, C/Prof.
• SMP/E and subsystem tuning experience.
• Installation and diagnostics techniques for IMS/CICS.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Cobol, JCL, Rexx, Assembler).
• Security products experience (e.g. RACF).
• Technical knowledge of z/OS systems.

Responsibilities

• Rapidly respond to IMS & CICS issues and minimize downtime.
• Open cases on IBM support portal for issue resolution.
• Provide consulting services to applications and operation teams.
• Install and support IMSplex & CICSPlex configurations.
• Identify opportunities for tuning IMS & CICS performance.
• Create technical documentation and ensure compliance with security requirements.
• Share knowledge and provide training to junior team members.
