Job summary

The Boyd Group in Winnipeg, Manitoba seeks a Senior Financial Consolidation & Reporting Accountant to lead period-end consolidation, prepare footnotes, and support IFRS-compliant statements. Reporting to the Manager – Corporate Accounting, you will manage the general ledger, develop close calendars, and drive process improvements with Workday and Workiva.

The role requires CPA, IFRS expertise, advanced Excel, and strong communication to coordinate across FP&A and auditors.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and GL mechanics.
• Ability to perform financial variance analysis and draft memos.
• Manage close timelines and resolve discrepancies proactively.
• Collaborate with FP&A and external auditors.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and system project experience.

Responsibilities

• Review financial statements and consolidate period-end data.
• Prepare footnotes and disclosures for external reporting.
• Manage intercompany eliminations and journal entries.
• Support Workday enhancements and workflow automation.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal controls.
