A leading global design firm is seeking a Senior HVDC Project Engineer to join its team in Canada. In this role, you will engage in front-end engineering design, prepare technical specifications, evaluate bids, and support commissioning for HVDC and FACTS projects. The ideal candidate has a BSc in electrical engineering, 15 years of industry experience, and at least 10 years specifically in HVDC/FACTS. This position allows for remote work flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a BSc in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of industry experience required.
• At least 10 years of experience specifically with HVDC/FACTS.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with front end engineering design activities.
• Evaluate tenders and review design submissions.
• Participate in commissioning activities and business development.

Skills

Knowledge of HVDC/FACTS application

Experience in technical specifications preparation
