Senior Human Resource Payroll Administrator

Employment Type: SGEU Term 9 months or more

Salary Range: $30,329 - $38,009Hourly Grade: SGEU.08

About Us

The Public Service Commission (PSC) is the central human resource agency for the Government of Saskatchewan. The Commission provides leadership and policy direction to all ministries to enable a high-performing and innovative, professional public service.

The Human Resource Service Centre (HRSC), a division within the PSC, provides human resources, benefits and payroll administration services to all ministries and several smaller organizations within the Government of Saskatchewan. The HRSC is also the central contact point for all employee general HR-related inquiries.

The Opportunity

The Government of Saskatchewan is implementing a new government-wide, cloud-based and integrated system called Government Enterprise Management (GEM). GEM will modernize the way we do business, streamline processes, and improve client experience. As the HRSC prepares for implementation, there is an exciting term opportunity for a Senior Human Resource Payroll Administrator (HRPA), supporting the Inquiry Services Team. The Inquiry Services Team answers inbound calls from employees and managers across Government on a variety of human resources, benefits, entitlement, and payroll related inquiries.

As a Senior HRPA, you will:
  • Onboard and train new team members to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Collaborate with other areas of the HRSC to identify opportunities to improve existing processes and procedures to gain efficiencies.
  • Identify and deliver on training needs to address service delivery gaps.
  • Support the team in solving and/or redirecting client inquiries.
  • Support continuous improvement with case management reviews and audits.
