Job summary

A precision machining company in Toronto is seeking an experienced Senior HR Generalist to manage employee relations and ensure compliance with HR policies. This role involves overseeing leave of absence cases, coordinating HR projects, and assisting in recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and at least 5 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in HRIS systems and communication.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of human resources experience with 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment and labor legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee relations matters.
  • Oversee and manage all leave of absence cases.
  • Assist the Director of HR with the performance review process.
