Job summary

Agilent seeks a Senior HR Business Partner to support our Advanced Therapeutics organization in Charlottetown. This strategic, hands-on HR leader partners with senior leaders to shape organization design, workforce strategy, leadership effectiveness, talent and organizational change.

You’ll advise on employee engagement, change management and Canadian employment requirements, while building high-performance teams and a culture of accountability. Onsite five days a week; travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or strategic people partner.
• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders.
• Strong experience in organization design, workforce planning, talent management and organizational change.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.


• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including experience as an HR Business Partner or strategic people partner.


• Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders.


• Strong experience in organization design, workforce planning, talent management and organizational change.


• Strong business acumen and ability to translate business strategy into people strategy.


• Proven ability to influence, coach and constructively challenge leaders.


• Knowledge of Canadian employment practices and requirements.


• Ability to operate independently and exercise sound judgment in a fast-moving, complex environment.

Preferred

• Experience in life sciences, biopharma, pharmaceuticals, CDMO, medical devices, manufacturing or another regulated environment.


• Experience supporting transformation, restructuring, integration or significant organizational change.


• Experience in a global or matrixed organization.


• CPHR, SHRM or equivalent HR certification.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $112,418.00 - $175,654.00/yr CAD plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
