Job summary

DNV Energy Systems in Canada is seeking a Senior Resource Integration (RI) Engineer to join the Renewables & Power Grids group. You will lead complex studies for power generation, transmission, and interconnection, delivering high-quality results with a strong focus on customer value.

You will manage projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and stay current with ISO/RTO market changes. The role offers a hybrid schedule with offices in Toronto, Montreal, or Calgary, and opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong understanding of electric power systems and renewable energy fundamentals.
• Experience with power-system analysis tools and interconnection studies.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Perform power-flow and stability studies for renewables and conventional resources.
• Lead and mentor team members on study processes and deliverables.
• Engage with clients to define requirements and respond to RFPs.
• Attend industry meetings and stay updated on market changes.
• Develop new analytical tools and methods to enhance performance.
