To learn more about either institution, please visit our websites at www.sac.on.ca or www.stannes.ca.

We invite applications for a full-time Senior Graphic Designer to join our Communications team, reporting to the Creative Lead.

We're looking for a talented, experienced creative professional who loves great design, appreciates beautiful typography, and knows that sometimes the difference between good and exceptional comes down to a few pixels, a little white space, or some very deliberate kerning.

The successful candidate will help bring two distinct school brands to life across print and digital platforms, producing everything from major publications and fundraising campaigns to digital content, event materials, and large-format installations. This is a hands-on creative role requiring exceptional design skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to manage projects from initial concept through final production.

If that sounds like you, we should probably talk.

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • A minimum of 8 years of professional graphic design experience, with a portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative ability and versatility.
  • A degree or diploma in graphic design or a related field is an asset.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Experience with Lightroom is an asset.
  • Extensive experience designing for print and digital platforms, with particular strength in multi-page publications, editorial design, typography, layout, and brand-driven creative.
  • A thorough understanding of commercial printing processes, including prepress preparation, paper stocks, colour management, and specialty finishes.
  • The ability to work confidently within established brand standards while bringing fresh ideas and creative solutions to every project.
  • Strong project-management and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively, present creative concepts, and respond constructively to feedback.
  • An interest in emerging design technologies, including AI, and their potential to enhance the creative process.
  • Knowledge of photography and photo editing is an asset.

Above all, we're looking for someone who combines creative talent with good judgment, initiative, and a genuine team-first attitude. You'll collaborate with students, teachers, school leaders, Admissions, Advancement, and colleagues across both campuses, moving comfortably between big-picture creative thinking and the details required to deliver exceptional work.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on meaningful, high-profile creative projects and see your work make a tangible impact across our school communities.

We’re a small team with big ambitions. We value creativity, collaboration, good humour, and the occasional spirited debate about font choices.

This is a full-time, in-person position based in Aurora, Ontario. The successful candidate will work across both school campuses. A satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check is required as a condition of employment.

Please note that artificial intelligence (AI) tools will not be used in the screening or evaluation of applications; all materials will be reviewed directly by the Human Resources team. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

The salary for this position is dependent on qualifications and experience and will range from $78,260 to $90,000.

We believe that diversity in our schools fosters a rich, inclusive, and creative environment. We are actively engaged in building a more diverse school and encourage all qualified applicants to apply. By extension, we are committed to providing accommodations for persons with disabilities. If you require an accommodation through the recruitment process, please contact Human Resources at 905-727-2580.
