Qualifications

• At least 8 years of relevant work experience at mining sites and/or as a consultant.
• Member of a recognized professional association.
• Advanced experience in mining geotechnics.
• At least 3 years of experience in open-pit mining.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal expertise in establishing and reviewing mine design criteria.
• Develop the pit ground control monitoring program.
• Provide technical support to operations in relation to geotechnical issues.
• Analyze and model slope stability and foundation design.
• Communicate any significant geotechnical events.
