We are a global firm focused on sustainable energy and infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in our Hydropower and Dams team, located in Québec and across Canada.

The Opportunity

Shape the future of sustainable hydropower infrastructure by joining a highly specialized multidisciplinary team that works on large-scale public and private projects.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a senior engineer for the design of retaining earth structures (at various stages of the engineering process), inspections of earthfill retaining structures, plans and technical specifications preparation, technical support during construction, risk assessment and dam safety review.
  • Act as Project Manager or Discipline Lead for major projects within the group.
  • Mentor and support engineers and technicians within your technical discipline and contribute to their professional development.
  • Participate in quality control of deliverables, including design review meetings and multidisciplinary coordination meetings.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals and to the development of the business unit.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geological engineering, or another relevant discipline.
  • Master’s degree with a specialization in geotechnical engineering is an asset.
  • Strong experience in the design of earthfill dams and retention structures.
  • Strong experience in dam inspections and dam safety evaluation studies.
  • Experience in multidisciplinary project in a discipline lead role.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Leadership, initiative, attention to detail, and strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical, structured, and critical thinking skills.
  • Autonomy, dynamism, and a solution‑oriented mindset.
Compensation

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
