ShareGate is hiring a remote Senior Software Developer for the Migrate web app. You’ll contribute across the full stack with React, C#, and TypeScript while collaborating with Product and Design to turn user needs into simple, polished experiences.

This role offers a Canada-wide remote setup with regular collaboration and growth opportunities. You will work in a fast-moving squad, mentoring teammates, and leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in software development, ideally in a product-oriented environment.
• Strong knowledge of frontend development with React (TypeScript).
• Experience in backend development with C# / .NET.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise strong technical judgment in a product context.

Responsibilities

• Ship full-stack features that meet quality, performance, and UX standards from the first milestones of the new web app.
• Shape the team's technical choices (libraries, API patterns, code structure, test strategy) so each decision accelerates future delivery.
• Translate user needs into shipped experiences that solve the real problem, in tight partnership with Product and Design.
• Integrate Microsoft APIs (Microsoft Graph, Azure AD / Entra ID, MSAL) reliably and securely so migration and authentication scenarios work without friction in production.
• Anticipate technical risks before they block the team, and bring concrete solutions that keep delivery moving.
• Raise the team's technical bar through code reviews and mentoring that make others grow, not just validate code.
• Master AI-assisted development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot) to deliver a level of quality and output that a solo dev couldn't achieve otherwise.

A senior developer is expected to have a visible impact not just on what gets shipped, but on how the team works and decides. AI-assisted development is a core part of how the team operates.
