Job summary

ProMach in Oakville, Ontario, is seeking a senior software developer to design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs within a .NET ecosystem, while advancing a React-based UI. You'll work across frontend and backend layers, ensuring robust data access and scalable architecture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development across C#, .NET Framework, web apps, APIs and relational databases.
• Strong experience building backend services, data-access layers and RESTful APIs in a mature .NET codebase.
• Hands-on React/JS TS, HTML, CSS with frontend-backend coordination.
• Experience modernizing server-rendered functionality into a component-based frontend.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, business logic, data-access components, databases and APIs within the existing .NET application.
• Develop and support React-based web functionality across UI and backend layers.
• Maintain and enhance ASP.NET MVC functionality while migrating features to React.
• Implement and support dashboard modules, reporting features, and data-driven behavior.
• Troubleshoot defects across all layers and review logs, responses, and test results.
• Prepare builds/releases, coordinate merges, and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Provide production support for customer deployments and document defects and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with frontend, backend, product and support teams to deliver maintainable, compatible changes.
