Job summary

Finning Canada is hiring a permanent, full-time Senior Full Stack Developer who will report to the Solutions Delivery Lead in Surrey or Edmonton. You will design, build, and evolve modern digital products that deliver measurable business value, combining software engineering with AI-assisted development and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise software solutions.
• 5+ years of experience building modern web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
• Experience working in Agile product delivery environments.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy modern full-stack applications and digital products.
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions using modern web, mobile, API, and integration technologies.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools and agentic software engineering frameworks to accelerate solution delivery.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise engineering standards.
