Job summary

St. Joseph Communications in Toronto is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to maintain and enhance digital platforms for product, content and monetization across SJC.

You will define technical priorities, contribute to architecture, and collaborate with product managers, designers, and editors to deliver high-impact solutions that grow revenue. The role requires 5+ years of software engineering experience, strong TypeScript/React/Node.js skills, and a willingness to ramp up on our AdOps stack

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and designers to drive a culture of trust and continuous improvement.
• Architect and develop features using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AI technologies from prototype to production, mentoring juniors.
• Ramp up on ad stack (Header Bidding, Google Ad Manager) and work with AdOps engineer.
• Maintain build/deploy infrastructure (Docker, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Lead database development with MySQL/MariaDB on AWS RDS Aurora.
• Deliver 0→1 products with cross-functional partners, owning shared services (auth, APIs, adtech).
• Ship mobile web experiences leveraging Next.js/React/Node/TypeScript and AI coding agents.
