Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer – Java / Angular to lead a high-performing engineering team building modern web applications and resilient backend services. You will design, implement, and operate scalable APIs and frontends using Angular and Java.

You will lead onshore and offshore teams, craft RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and drive CI/CD, automated testing, and secure coding practices in an Agile environment. Salary ranges CA$90,000–CA$110,000 per year.

Senior Full Stack Developer – Java / Angular

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer with leadership skills to join a high-performing engineering team building modern, customer-facing web applications and resilient backend services. The role involves designing, implementing, and operating high-scale APIs and frontend applications using Angular and Java.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a dynamic team covering both onshore and offshore.
• Build and maintain client-facing Angular applications and Java Spring Boot backend services.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, GraphQL APIs, microservices, and Kafka integrations.
• Write high-quality code supported by automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Champion test automation and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX, QA, and engineering teams in an Agile environment.
• Automate development pipelines and operational runbooks.
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and resiliency using Redis, load balancing, service discovery, and fault-tolerance practices.
• Apply security best practices, including JWT, OAuth2/OIDC, TLS/SSL, and secure coding standards.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend practical adoption strategies.
• Communicate technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Software development experience building web applications and backend services.
• Strong experience with Angular and Java Spring Boot.
• Strong team leadership and business stakeholder communication skills.

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
