Job summary

Harvey is seeking a Staff Frontend Software Engineer in Toronto to shape the core platform while delivering user-facing features for flagship law firms and enterprises. You’ll own foundational frontend systems, from authentication to collaboration tooling, and work across product, AI, and GTM teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of frontend-focused software engineering experience on platform/product teams.
• Experience shipping user-facing features across the stack with measurable impact.
• Strong knowledge of frontend technologies (React, TypeScript, CSS).
• Familiarity with enterprise SaaS patterns such as RBAC, feature flag systems, and third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design and build foundational frontend infrastructure (authentication, permissions, feature flags, notifications).
• Evolve Harvey's internal product platform to accelerate cross-team development.
• Lead development of enterprise-facing features (secure collaboration, cross-organization workflows, admin controls).
• Maintain high security, privacy, and reliability for sensitive legal data.
