LMI Technologies in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Front End Software Developer II to drive the GoPxL web GUI. You will build features in TypeScript/React, own end-to-end delivery, and optimize UI performance for embedded hardware on a high-visibility product platform.

You will collaborate with Product Management, UX/PM, and AI-assisted workflows, shaping design decisions and ensuring scalable interfaces. A strong front-end background and 5+ years of experience are required, along with English

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience focused on front-end web applications.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, React, and modern JavaScript, HTML, and CSS/LESS/SASS.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering features from vague requirements to shipped product.
• Ability to advocate UX and performance improvements.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Jest.
• Excellent English communication and Agile teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality TypeScript and React for the embedded web GUI.
• Own features from concept to deployment with refactoring for scalability.
• Collaborate with Product Management to convert requirements into actionable stories.
• Partner with UX/PM to shape designs and use AI tools for mockups.
• Collaborate across adjacent domains for full-stack integration and end-to-end delivery.
• Write robust UI code with 24/7 factory automation in mind and maintain unit/integration tests (Jest).
• Contribute to the technical roadmap and product evolution.
