Job summary

Iris Software Inc. in Toronto is seeking an experienced UI Developer to join a hybrid team. You will design and implement Angular applications, collaborate with designers, and contribute to scalable front-end architecture.

You will work with NgRx, RxJS, TypeScript, and REST APIs, and contribute to banking/financial services projects. This long-term contract role requires 10+ years of software development experience and strong delivery in Agile environments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software development experience with hands-on Angular development.
• Experience with NgRx, RxJS, TypeScript and responsive web development.
• Experience with Java/Spring Boot or Node.js, REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, JUnit and Mockito.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD tools and Agile methodologies.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance Angular web applications (v10+).
• Build reusable UI components and implement modern front-end architecture patterns.
• Utilize NgRx for state management and RxJS for reactive programming.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional interfaces.
