The Senior Franchise Accountant is a key leadership role within the Finance & Accounting team at Billyard Insurance Group. This position serves as both a technical accounting expert and a system owner, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of financial reporting across the organization.
This role goes beyond traditional accounting by bridging finance operations with system functionality. It leads optimization of the ERP system (Sage Intacct), supports and enhances Broker Management Systems (Acturis and PowerBroker), and drives continuous process improvement initiatives that strengthen financial operations and scalability.
This position is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment and enjoys combining hands‑on accounting with systems leadership, process improvement, and team mentorship.
We are seeking a technically strong and detail‑oriented accounting professional with deep full‑cycle accounting experience and strong proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools. The successful candidate will act as a go‑to resource for accounting, ERP, and BMS‑related questions while supporting continuous improvement across financial processes and reporting.
They will be comfortable working across multiple systems, managing competing priorities, and collaborating with cross‑functional stakeholders. Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to influence and support others are essential.
This role requires someone who takes ownership, identifies opportunities for improvement, and contributes to building a more efficient, scalable, and high‑performing finance function.
