Qualifikationen

• Must have a professional accounting designation or chartered financial analyst designation.
• Must have a University Degree at the Bachelor's level in a related discipline.
• Considerable experience in financial management at a senior level.
• Demonstrated equivalencies will be considered.
• Experience with Oracle FIS Financial, Budget management systems, Oracle PeopleSoft, Excel/Spreadsheets, and Word is required.
• Supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, organizational and communications skills.
• Knowledge of budgeting processes and analytical skills for both detail and big picture.

• Conduct research and analysis on financial and administrative issues to provide statistical and financial support and recommendations.
• Gather, analyze, synthesize and summarize financial information for reports and funding agreements.
• Formulate action plans with divisional staff and present options to management.
• Provide analysis and advice to staff on Treasury Board submissions and executive council materials.
• Guide senior management on governmental policies, legislation and regulations.
• Monitor budget variances and assist in spending oversight and reporting.
• Collaborate with directors to develop investment and mitigation scenarios for review.
• Position costing and staffing analysis as part of annual planning.
