Senior Fire Alarm Technician

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Fire Alarm Technician to perform inspections, installations, service, and repair work on fire alarm systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to high-quality service and safety standards. You’ll work independently, guide junior technicians, and serve as a technical resource for complex system programming and troubleshooting.

What You’ll Do :

Inspect, install, service, and repair fire alarm systems, including multi-vendor platforms.

Program and verify systems including Special Hazard and Pre-Action systems.

Troubleshoot complex installations such as voice messaging, smoke control, and network audio systems.

Mentor junior team members and ensure service quality and timely completion of work.

Prepare detailed reports and maintain communication with office and customers.

What You’ll Bring :

8+ years of experience in low-voltage or fire / life safety systems.

CFAA certification and Fire Alarm System Programming or Installation training.

Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as needed.

Physically capable of working in varied environments (ladders, confined spaces, elevated areas).

Self-motivated, safety-focused, and dedicated to exceptional customer service.
