WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
Management and Regulatory Reporting
  • Lead the preparation of monthly and quarterly variance analysis for executive-level reporting packages (iMBR, MBR, WMBR, Flash).
  • Compile and submit regulatory filings in accordance with OSFI and Bank of Canada standards, ensuring timely delivery and full compliance.
  • Maintain readiness of regulatory returns for management review, meeting all government agency deadlines.
Financial Governance & Controls
  • Strengthen internal controls across financial and regulatory reporting processes.
  • Prepare reconciliations, journal adjustments, and consolidation entries to ensure reporting accuracy and integrity.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and control.
Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Partner with key departments to ensure consistency, accuracy, and transparency in financial reporting.
  • Support finance-led initiatives and projects, embedding robust controls and identifying opportunities for efficiency gains.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA Designation (or equivalent) or working towards it, is required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in financial, management or regulatory reporting, ideally within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Ability to deliver accurate and timely results in a fast-paced, concurrent-deadline environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and multitasking capabilities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid command of MS Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity to engage across all levels of the organization.
  • Alteryx and Power BI knowledge is a strong asset.
