A community-focused charity in Canada seeks a Senior Financial Analyst responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and budget management. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, at least three years of relevant experience, and strong analytical skills. This position offers a hybrid work schedule and the chance to contribute meaningfully towards community services and supports.
Salary Rate: $80,000 to $90,000 (Check out the YMCA's total compensation package!)
Location: 90 Eglinton Avenue - Hybrid work schedule currently available
Work Hours: Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for analyzing the financial statements, at the program level, reviewing claim forms and funding contracts, and preparing various financial reports required by the funders. They will support senior leaders in forecast modeling for the association and upcoming projects, and are responsible for the preparation of program audit files. The Senior Financial Analyst works closely with senior management in Child and Family Development (CFD) for the preparation of complex funding proposal submissions and mandatory reporting to various funders. In collaboration with the Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst, will establish best practices to ensure adherence to regulatory and YMCA guidelines.
