Job summary

Classic Fire + Life Safety is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to lead financial reporting across Canadian and U.S. entities. You will own close processes, manage reconciliations, and partner with leadership to drive process improvements in a growth-focused environment.

The role offers exposure to acquisitions, ERP implementations, and external audits, reporting to the Manager, Corporate Financial Reporting. CPA designation or progress toward it is required.

Qualifications

• CPA designation or close to being designated.
• Progressive accounting experience (preferred from public accounting).
• Experience with multi-entity accounting environments and ERP systems is an asset.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced month-end environment.
• Strong knowledge of ASPE.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial results and explain variances to management.
• Support preparation of management reporting packages and ad hoc analyses.
• Assist FP&A with reporting requirements and close deliverables.
• Own consolidated financial reporting workbook and liaise with external auditors during audits.
• Lead month-end close for multiple Canadian and U.S. entities.
