The BCTF currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join us on a full-time basis. This is an in-person position based out of 550 West 6th Avenue, in Vancouver, B.C.
Reporting to the Treasurer and CFO, this pivotal role is responsible for leading the Federation’s annual budget process, conducting financial analysis and forecasting, and administering grant programs for locals. The Senior Financial Analyst provides strategic financial insights and guidance to senior leadership, ensuring sound fiscal management and alignment with organizational priorities.
More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
To qualify, you will need a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a provincially accredited university. A minimum of 6 years of experience in a senior accounting role, including 3 years of post-CPA experience in budget preparation, financial analysis, and reporting, will also be essential.
