Qualifications

• CPA designation is required.
• Experience in public accounting or corporate financial reporting.
• Background in financial statement preparation, audit, or public company reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial reporting systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Interest in building expertise in financial reporting and technical accounting.
• Experience in a large accounting firm or publicly accountable organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial reporting packages in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Support the year-end audit process and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Research technical accounting matters and prepare accounting position papers and supporting documentation.
• Assist with regulatory, lender, and government reporting requirements.
• Support project accounting activities, financial analysis, and ad hoc reporting as required.
• Contribute to forecasting and other finance initiatives when needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting processes and strengthen financial controls.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects across the finance function.
