Job summary

Scotiabank is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor in Vancouver, BC to deliver client-focused financial guidance across banking, investments and borrowing solutions. You will build and nurture relationships with customers, understand their goals, and develop tailored plans that help them reach their financial objectives.

You will work within a collaborative Canadian Banking team, striving to exceed sales targets while maintaining high service standards, and you will participate in ongoing coaching

Qualifications

• The appetite and drive to build strong customer relationships.
• A strategic mindset to develop personalized financial strategies including day-to-day banking, investments and borrowing solutions.
• The proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in a fast paced environment that align to a customer’s stated goals.
• A Mutual Funds licence and CIFP Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Take a proactive approach to discovering customer needs and educate clients with relevant insights and expert advice.
• Build customers’ comprehensive financial plans using a holistic approach.
• Nurture strong, long-standing relationships and retain/grow branch business by meeting sales goals.

• Developing, retaining and growing the branch business by delivering against individual and team sales goals that support a positive customer experience
