Join us as a Senior Financial Analyst – FP&A and Supply Chain(12 Month Contract). You will work as part of a team managing and executing the financial planning and reporting process. Using your organizational skills, you’ll maintain the organization’s budget and database for tracking, analyzing, and reporting the profit and loss statement. Your deliberate and insightful approach will ensure efficient managing supply chain budgets that align with company strategies and financial objectives.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Mississauga office.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing Budgets – Manage the corporate budget process for the annual budget and monthly and quarterly forecasts. We’ll rely on you to manage overall P&L budgeting and forecasting, analyze variances as well as identify potential risks & opportunities.
  • Directing Business Collaboration – Proactively partner with cross-functional teams to ensure a full understanding of any changes vs budget or strategic estimates. Using your owner\'s mindset and talent for teamwork, you’ll share fresh perspectives through your analysis and insights that will help drive the business forward.
  • Leading Month End Close Reporting – Champion the monthly close process, process accounting entries, preparing account reconciliations, and ensure consistency between financial accounting and reporting systems.
  • Supply Chain Operations – Managing VAS operations, distribution plans and budgeting, costing, as well as handling ad hoc distribution requests. You will also lead and track all cost savings initiatives.
We’re Looking for Someone With
  • Post-secondary education, Business Degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce or another related field.
  • Experience with budgeting/financial analysis experience preferably in CPG
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, using functions such as lookups, pivot tables, filters, sorting.
  • Experience using SAP.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • In-depth understanding of P&L structure.
  • Proven experience providing financial insights and analysis to non-finance stakeholders.
  • Effective time management and results-oriented and ability to multi-task efficiently and effectively.
