Job description

The Senior Executive / Assistant Manager is responsible to assess, evaluate, implement, and monitor Environmental Services related services and programs to ensure a safe and clean environment to the patients, public and staff. He/She will manage Environmental Services outsourced services, perform all aspects of Environmental Services operations, and provide a safe & clean environment to patient, public and staff.

Your job roles will include, but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities
  • Attending to internal and external stakeholders’ feedback or requests.
  • Monitor and ensure planned maintenance program are carried out by the vendor.
  • Conduct joint inspections and walkabout with vendor to assess their performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform audit checks to ensure reasonable assurance that services are satisfactorily carried out as well to ensure compliance to infection control standards.
  • Developing and implementing department work plans consistent with the directions and priorities of the Hospital.
  • Propose and implement department budget in alignment with department work plans.
  • Assist to monitor quality performance, balance score card, department training and utilization, as well as reviewing KPIs.
  • Management of Waste and Pest Control Services
  • Implement works relating to Environmental Services during emergencies e.g. infectious disease outbreak, civil disaster, business continuity management, etc.
  • Any other adhoc duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree of any discipline.
  • Past work experience in healthcare environment will be advantageous.
  • A team player who can work independently when needed.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Able to adapt to change quickly, think analytically and strategically.
