Job summary

ITC Infotech is seeking an ETL Test Lead on site in Canada. The role emphasizes tech leadership, scaling the Testing team across Engineering, Automation and AI domains, with hands-on ETL testing, Anaplan and automation using Python/Selenium/Appium.

The candidate will lead on-site test delivery, mentor multiple teams, and collaborate with stakeholders to define test plans, strategies and processes while driving quality across Retail domain projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of strong experience in Test Leadership and testing areas.
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL Testing and Anaplan.
• Advanced SQL and performance tuning skills.
• Hands on experience in developing UI automation script in Python using Selenium/Appium framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead a test team as single point of contact from Onsite.
• Support both Manual and Automation test teams.
• Create test plan, strategy and test process aligned with business needs.
• Build / enhance Test strategies, Frameworks and address bottlenecks.
• Review test deliverables and ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Execute tests as defined in the plan and report status.
• Manage multiple testing teams and support offshore testing.
• Hands-on involvement to assist offshore team in testing.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a ETL Test Lead at Onsite with strong Test leadership skills and hands-on experience to Data/ETL Testing, Automation Testing and Test leadership activities. The role focuses on Techno-Leadership and scaling up the Testing team in Engineering, Automation and AI areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a test team as single point of contact from Onsite
• Support both Manual and Automation test teams
• Closely work with the stakeholders to understand business requirements and accordingly create test plan, strategy and test process
• Build / enhance Test strategies, Test automation framework, address technical bottlenecks, and provide solutions.
• Review test deliverables and ensure it is up-to-date, complete, and accurate.
• Responsible for executing tests as defined in the test plan and reporting the status
• Need to manage multiple testing teams.
• Needs to be hands-on and support offshore team in testing

Must Haves:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of strong experience in Test Leadership and testing areas
• Strong hands-on experience with ETL Testing and Anaplan.
• Advanced SQL and performance tuning skills
• Hands on experience in developing UI automation script in Python using Selenium/Appium framework.

Good to have:

• Exposure to Airflow or alternative Orchestration tools
• Hands on experience in preparing and updating test automation scripts as per new hardware and software features/functionalities.
• Experience in building or enhancing Automation Framework (Hybrid, Data Driven, Keyword Driven etc.)
• Hands on experience in CI/CD: MAVEN, Jenkins/AWS Pipelines (EC2) based testing
• Experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies

Domain Skills:

• Experience in Retail Domain – preferably with Merchandise/ Data/Commerce retail.

Skill set and Certifications:

• Test Management tools like JIRA/TestRail
• SDET concepts, Agile methodologies and Testing Process
• Appium and Selenium WebDriver with Java
• Snowflakes, Apache Airflow experience or expertise (Good to have)
• ISTQB Certification
