Job summary

CPKC/Coforge is seeking a Senior ETL Developer in Calgary to design and build scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and IDMC. The role focuses on modern data architecture, data quality, and governance while collaborating with business stakeholders.

You will implement Medallion Architecture, optimize performance and costs, and develop CI/CD pipelines with Git and Azure DevOps. Strong communication and stakeholder management are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Data Engineering / ETL / Data Warehousing.
• 4+ years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
• Strong SQL, Python, Stored Procedures, IDMC, and Medallion Architecture skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and IDMC.
• Implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold).
• Work on Snowpipe, CDC, data modeling, and data quality.
• Implement data security, RBAC, data masking, and governance.
• Manage performance tuning and cost optimization.
• Build CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.
• Work with Control-M, Power BI, and Qlik.
• Develop AI solutions using Cortex Analyst, Cortex Search, and AI Agents.
