Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead and coordinate large multi‑discipline cost estimates and schedules for water infrastructure projects worldwide. You will guide teams of discipline estimators and integrate inputs across civil, mechanical, electrical, and process disciplines.
The role focuses on hydropower, water treatment, wastewater, and related facilities, with travel flexibility and potential international assignments.

As a Senior Estimator at Stantec, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating large multi-discipline infrastructure cost estimates and construction schedules. You will work with a dynamic team of cost estimators, schedulers, and construction engineers in Stantec's estimating group. You will be a productive leader on the team and will be responsible for coordinating teams of discipline estimators, while estimating many project disciplines.
The position will have responsibility to support exciting, complex projects throughout the world ranging from approximately $1 million to $2 billion. The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination and development of cost estimates and schedules for design teams at traditional project development milestones.
This role is intended for an experienced estimator with strong expertise in hydropower, water infrastructure, and mechanical systems estimating. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience developing and leading large, multi-discipline cost estimates for water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, intake and outfall structures, pipelines, water conveyance systems, dams, hydropower facilities, and other major water infrastructure projects. Experience leading large studies, capital programs, and complex infrastructure portfolios is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience coordinating estimates across civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, process, and construction disciplines will be highly valued. Experience supporting municipal, state, provincial, federal, utility, USACE, Bureau of Reclamation, or other government-funded projects is considered a significant asset.

Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
