Job summary

ThoughtStorm Inc. is seeking a Senior ESRI/GIS Developer to migrate a GeoCortex mapping app to VertiGIS Studio and to enhance web GIS tools. You will work with VertiGIS Studio Web/Workflow, Geocortex Essentials, and ESRI Experience Builder, integrating ArcGIS REST API, Server and Portal, while ensuring WCAG 2.0 AA accessibility.

Location is Toronto, ON and the work arrangement is 5 days onsite. Public-sector projects are a plus and collaboration with stakeholders is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have strong experience migrating GIS apps to VertiGIS Studio.
• Experience with Geocortex Essentials and ESRI Experience Builder is required.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS REST API, Server and Portal is essential.
• Ability to build accessible web GIS tools following WCAG 2.0 AA and AODA.
• Experience integrating GIS workflows and deploying GIS services.
• Public-sector experience is a plus.

Job description

• Proficiency with VertiGIS Studio Web/Workflow, Geocortex Essentials, ESRI Experience Builder or Web AppBuilder.
• Experience integrating ArcGIS REST API, ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Portal, including GIS services and application deployment.
• Knowledge of accessible web application development in compliance with AODA and WCAG 2.0 Level AA.
• Experience with GIS workflow integration, responsive UI development, troubleshooting and stakeholder collaboration.
• Public-sector experience is an asset.
