Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is looking for a Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager in Hamilton to join their Assessment and Permitting team. You will deliver expertise across various sectors, managing project tasks and communicating with stakeholders.
Candidates must have a university degree in Environmental Planning or related field, with a minimum of 15 years experience in project management, particularly in environmental assessments and compliance. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
Stantec is seeking Senior Environmental Planners/Project Managers to join our Assessment and Permitting team within the Environmental Services practice. You will work in one of our London, Waterloo, Markham, Hamilton, or Ottawa offices, delivering environmental expertise across a wide variety of sectors.
A university degree or post‑undergraduate college diploma in Environmental Planning, Environmental Studies, or a related field is required.
Minimum 15 years of experience in project management for environmental programs, with a focus on energy, power, infrastructure, mining, industrial, and/or community development projects.
Previous experience in undertaking tasks such as the Class EA process, environmental impact assessments, environmental programs, environmental compliance, and/or coordinating the acquisition of permits and approvals.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements, including inclement weather.

Locations in Lower Mainland – BC, GTA & Ottawa Ontario – $128,300.00 – $178,300.00 Annually.
In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. The final agreed compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. Certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
