Senior Environmental Planner - Toronto, ON

Are you an experienced Environmental Planner looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Environmental Planner to join a leading, global environmental consulting firm, working on Provincial and Federal Environmental Impact Assessments across diverse projects, including mining, infrastructure, and renewable energy.

Responsibilities
  • Lead environmental impact assessments and regulatory processes
  • Manage project tasks, proposals, and stakeholder consultations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and regulatory agencies
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to business development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s/Master\'s degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Studies, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental program and project management
  • Experience with Federal IA, Class EA, TPAP, Ontario Energy Board/Canada Energy Regulator processes
  • Strong project management and technical writing skills
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities and regulatory approvals is an asset
  • Membership in Ontario Professional Planners Institute, OAIA, or ECO Canada EP designation is preferred
