  • Oversee environmental monitoring and follow up program in accordance with applicable law and permits, licenses and approvals.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships as part of liaising with authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Ensure effective communication with the project team on environmental matters; prepare and submit regular environmental reports, as required.
  • Provide recommendations for implementation of corrective actions, where applicable.
  • Coordinate and execute site investigations and audits for environmental compliance, including but not limited to erosion and sediment control measures, spill preparedness, and water management and discharge.
  • Manage and oversee the environmental SME/disciplines (including subconsultants), as well as managing and mentoring staff within the team
  • Be familiar with and have working knowledge of environmental permitting and approvals processes.
What you will bring to our firm:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in either Environmental Engineering or Science, Environmental Management, Urban Planning or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience (preferably in a consulting role).
What we prefer you bring:
  • Experience managing and coordinating multi-disciplinary environmental teams.
  • Knowledge of Environmental Management Systems development and implementation, including preparation and review of management plans and monitoring programs across various environmental disciplines.
  • Experience analyzing project designs, identifying potential environmental impacts and establishing appropriate mitigation/monitoring plans.
