Job summary

Arcadis Canada is seeking a Senior Environmental Field Technician to join the Resilience team across Atlantic Canada (Nova Scotia or New Brunswick). You will coordinate and execute field activities for environmental projects, real-time instrumentation, and remediation system oversight, under Project Manager guidance.

The role requires travel around Atlantic Canada (≈85%), a strong understanding of instrumentation, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment and perform repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
• A designation of C. Tech or C.E.T is preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in environmental fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Support environmental site assessments, risk assessments, and remediation projects under the direction of a Project Manager.
• Conduct site visits and inspections, monitor drilling/remediation activities, and prepare field notes.
• Collect soil and groundwater samples, support data tabulation, and write environmental reports.
