PGL Environmental Consultants are seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to be based out of our Whitby, ON, office. PGL employees work a 37.5‑hour work week, and all employees have the flexibility to work from home or office as and when needed.
The Senior Environmental Consultant is involved with the planning, management and execution of contaminated site projects at a senior level. They will work on project teams that include junior and intermediate staff with technical specialists, when required. Some field work may be required, generally connected with large, complex, difficult or remote sites, or for training of staff.
Projects will vary and can include any of the following:
In addition to managing projects and providing technical direction, it is expected that senior project staff mentor project staff. This person will also be comfortable interacting with clients. Participation in business development and marketing activities will include proposals, work plans, presentations, attending networking events and seminars, as well as building relationships with clients they are working with. An interest in greater involvement in business development and marketing is an asset.
