Zohorecruit in Canada seeks a Senior Enterprise/Solution Data Architect with 8+ years of architecture experience for a six‑month contract, onsite 2–3 days per week in Downtown Toronto.

You will design data models, ingestion pipelines, and governance frameworks using Snowflake and cloud platforms, ensuring compliant, secure and scalable solutions across AWS/Azure/GCP.

The role requires strong SQL, Python, data engineering patterns, and leadership in design reviews and reference architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years in enterprise or solution architecture roles.
• 4+ years hands-on Snowflake architecture and optimization.

Responsabilités

• Design data models, ingestion pipelines, and transformations using Snowflake features.
• Define governance around Snowflake usage including cost controls, compute management, and data lifecycle practices.
• Oversee integrations between Snowflake and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), BI tools, and enterprise systems.
• Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams across project lifecycles.
• Lead and participate in design reviews and develop reference architectures.
• Ensure solutions are compliant, secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards.

Job Description

Our client, a prominent ConsultingOrganization with a global presence, is seeking a Senior Enterprise/SolutionData Architect who possesses more than 7 years of experience in a comparableposition. This is a six-month contract role with a significant potential forextension, and the client mandates that the position be onsite 2-3 times perweek in Downtown Toronto.

Experience you bring will include:

• Proficiency in modern data engineeringpatterns (ETL/ELT, streaming, CDC)
• Strong SQL skills; familiarity with Pythonand CI/CD pipelines
• Solid knowledge of data governance, securityframeworks, and compliance requirements
